For a small country, Israel holds immense significance for three of the world’s major religions. This modern Jewish state is not only the “Promised Land” for Jews but also the only nation where they form a majority of the population. For Christians, Israel is revered as the “Holy Land,” the site of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection. For Muslims, Jerusalem is sacred as the place. 

Understanding Israel’s Religious and Cultural Complexity

Although Israel’s religious importance dates back to ancient times, it remains a focal point of international attention, largely due to ongoing religious, ethnic, and political conflicts. In its effort to better understand global religions, the Pew Research Center has conducted comprehensive studies on the religious landscape in Israel, highlighting major divisions not only between Jews and Arabs but also among the diverse subgroups of Israeli Jews.

Our Journey Begins: A Mission of Faith in Israel

My first missions work began in Israel, where I experienced God’s Spirit in miraculous ways through prophetic prayer. I embarked on a transformative journey to the Temple Mount region. Guided by divine inspiration, I drew the Star of David on the ground as I prayed and walked, symbolizing a deep connection to the land and its spiritual heritage.

During a conference in the region, I had a profound experience: I witnessed the form of the prophet Elijah, as clearly as one would see any ordinary man. This remarkable encounter affirmed the significance of my mission and deepened my commitment to spreading God’s message and love.

Continuing the Mission: Spreading God’s Love Worldwide
